Meet Scott W. Bishop

Founder of Scott’s Training

Scott W. Bishop, owner and CEO of Scott’s Bishop Training, has over 30 years of experience in the HVAC and plumbing industries. Born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Scott developed a passion for the trades while working with his father in the family business. This early exposure sparked his interest, leading him to pursue a career in the field.

In 1982, Scott graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from George Washington University in D.C. After acquiring the family business from his father in 2001, he successfully managed fifty employees. Over the years, Scott has also worked for various mechanical and general contracting companies, gaining valuable experience across different sectors.

In addition to his extensive professional background, Scott is committed to mentoring the next generation of professionals. His experience and skills have made him a sought-after instructor for HVAC and Master Plumber continuing education classes in New Jersey. His teaching style emphasizes interactive discussions that provide diverse perspectives, helping attendees achieve their learning goals.

Scott enjoys a variety of sports, traveling, reading, and exploring great restaurants.
